All season, Theo has been a controversial figure and he has regularly been criticised, and after Calabria’s avoidance of Paulo Fonseca on Wednesday both are set to be dropped this weekend. However, Mike Maignan has posted a message of support for them today.
With Maignan probably among the choices to be the captain this weekend in their absence, perhaps it is nothing more than a sign of his leadership and view on team morale. At least this would be the preferred option rather than him supporting their situations.
