While in Russia, AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini spoke to Premium Sport about his possible return to the San Siro side, with American hedge fund Elliott taking over the club.
“If Milan have called? For now, no. I’ve always been willing to talk, so I’ve never denied anyone, at least not the dialogue,” Maldini stated.
It’s been reported that Maldini wants a decision-making role in the club, while the Rossoneri are only willing to offer him a role similar to Zanetti’s at Inter. However, none of these reports have been confirmed and other sources have, just like Maldini, denied that there have been any contacts.
