Some good news may have arrived today regarding Tijjani Reijnders’ future in an AC Milan shirt, at least for now.
There have been growing fears about the possibility of Reijnders leaving for Manchester City this summer, and whilst they won’t disappear, they may be lessened. However, it will not be an easy feat, of course not.

Nevertheless, the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri is being seen as a start, with reports even suggesting that it could make players rethink their futures. For now, though, the Manchester outfit are still negotiating.
As Calciomercato.com reports, it will take an ‘unmissable’ offer to not see Reijnders in a Milan shirt next season. In fact, it would need to be more than the €65-70 million that the club were initially willing to put on the table.
This is repeated by Gazzetta dello Sport, who also state that the Premier League club are ‘in a rush’ to get deals done before the Club World Cup this summer, which could entice them to perhaps part with a higher amount.
Both report that the next few days will be decisive to the future of both Milan and Reijnders, however, it no longer seems like his exit is inevitable, which is only positive.

Anything below 80-85 mil and I wouldn’t even be willing to discuss it so if City are serious and wants him that much then they better vastly improve their offers as I’m not even sure I would accept at that level.
He has a valuation of around 50-60 mil so anything below what I suggested at the top would be a mockery in my view.
I hope he stays, he would be fantastic under Allegri.
If they want him they have to bleed for him, like close to a 100m bleed.

Bring another midfielder like Ricci /Tonali to play the double pivots in his 4 – 2 – 3 – 1, so Tijjani will support the attack with Orsolini and Chiesa at the wings with Lucca /Piccoli at the top, e.g : De cuyper – Coppola – Thiaw – Comuzzo /Rovella – Ricci – Tonali / Fofana – Orsolini – Tijjani – Chiesa – Lucca / Piccoli! 🙏👍💕
Allegri doesn’t use creative midfielders though.
He needs tough as nails defensive ones and allows the attack to go do whatever it is they want to do to score.
Flamini, Nocerino, De Jong, Montolivo, Muntari, Ambrosini.
Those are his type of midfielders.
Even at Juve, Pirlo was the exception to the likes of Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Pereyra, etc.
He just doesn’t need creativity in midfield much. Just long balls to the attack and let them do their thing.
That might mean Pobega comes back from Bologna full time.
I think he would play him behind the front two (Leao,Gimenez or Pulisic) keeping two solid midfielders at the base (Forana & ?) and two wingbacks ( Theo,Jimenez or Saelemaekers) in a 3-5-2.
We will see , I still hope Tijji stays though.

If allegri decides on keeping the 4 2 3 1 I can fully see allegri playing him in the attacking mid role. A strong defensive mid who does all the dirty work to be brought In and fofana to have a “rabiot” type of role and that would solve the huge gap we often had. Bringing in a defensive midfielder that can do just that will be key this summer.

if you are suggesting a trade on top of 60 mil then its a really bad deal because De Bruyne has an expiring contract and selling Reijnders for 60 mil would be an unacceptable sellout by the management in my view as it would basically be just his valuation.
If 70m was enough to buy a player in England I’m sure city won’t be looking at reijnders, out mgmt always begging to sell their best players rather than the flops or unwilling ones just shows you how much of a deep mess we are in, being runned by amateurs with YouTube certifications!
You don’t seem to understand how transfers work. Players can only be sold if clubs are interested in them. Go and look at the dead wood at Man United for example.
I hope Reijnders stay. But if he leaves, Ivan Ilic from Torino looks like a potentially good replacement. His 20 mil move to Spartak Moscow fall through in January, so he is available and his price range is also within our cheap management’s price range. Perhaps in a combo 40 mil deal for Ilic and Ricci

I hope he stay. Allegri dont need creative midfielder but hard worker midfielder like tiji & fofana. But if he choose to leave then nothing can ACM do ( atleast he will bring minimum 75m euro for ACM thats enough to bring ricci & casadei)
Tijani is one of the best midfielder in Europe right now, he is good to sale 100m.
They paid over 120mil euros for the the dumpster of a player that is hack grealish. 100mil for tiji minimum, or kick rocks. If you want him for the mickey mouse cup so bad, pay the price. We’re not gonna lower it for you cuz you said you want him faster
