Manchester City have submitted their first offer for Tijjani Reijnders, but it has already been rejected by the AC Milan management.
Reijnders was named as the best midfielder in Serie A for 2024-25 by the Lega and it is not hard to see why, given he scored 15 goals across all competitions. However, this has led to rumours of interest from top European clubs, City above all.

After the last game of the season against Monza, he took his son Xavien onto the field, and many perceived his actions to be a farewell. There was even a report from one journalist stating that he has said goodbye to his team-mates.
Man City: First Reijnders bid
According to the latest from Matteo Moretto, the Premier League club have submitted their first offer to Milan for Reijnders. The total amount, including fixed and variable parts, is around €60m.

However, the Milan directors have already made it clear that ‘this is not enough’. The negotiations will continue in the next few days and a relaunch is expected from City who want the Dutchman for the Club World Cup.
Reijnders, meanwhile, is enjoying some time with his family in Como which is of course not far from Milan. However, this comes after reports that the former AZ Alkmaar man cancelled his holiday to Ibiza while waiting for news on his future.

Does it make sense to sell a guarantee for 60/70m to buy an uncertainty!! For 50m ???
No, not 50m. Let’s say Milan sold him for 70m, then they will spend that money on 25m, 25m and 20m..
Which is exactly how we got Reijnders in the first place, from selling Tonali and reinvesting. Issue is, Reijnders had been well scouted and was lined up well in advance…
I’m not sure we have that in place this time – I highly doubt Ricci is a realistic prospect for us and there don’t seem to be any other ‘done deals’ in the pipeline from the rumour mill…
Musah, Loftus cheek, and Emerson had been scouted also, every deal is a gambling, and Reijnders is a gambling that paid off.
No it doesn’t.
Also, it’s City we are talking to. They can pay 150 million if they really want someone. I’m not saying we can sell Reijnders for 150 but 70 is not enough for him as he has been on fire.
Fixed amount Milan should collect at least 70. Bonuses at least 15 more….
Ludicrous. Dunno y Milan sell cheap
90m-100m minimum for man city only
Even Rice was sold 105 million, and Tijjani can double such amounts.
If it was an EPL player, they would’ve paid 100 mil. Ask them for 80 plus bonuses. Take it or leave it.
Yes.
If he played in Aston Villa they would sell him for 120.
But we are poor Milan who will sell for anything that makes us profit.
Learn how to milk big money from rich clubs.
We should be looking to get 80m at least. Leipzig put 92m on Sesko ffs – I know he’s a striker but even so…
80mil + Kovacic and it’s a deal
Elswhere Newcastle offered 40 millions to Lazio for Guendouzi. Reijnders is worth minimum twice.
What a shame for Man City. First offer should be 90-100 mil
The only time I would have considered a bid for Reijnders, would be if the price is above 130 million, only then I would listen and perhaps negotiate but will never let him go otherwise.
Just when you think something good was happening around Milan, now we have to take this punch under the belt!!
Let go those who didn’t perform and dont have motivation, please don’t let Reijnders go??
If AC Milan is supposed to be a plant school for bigger clubs?… If that is the philosophy in the club then we should be happy with place 8 in serie A and forget coming back to the top.
It’s 2025, not 1995.
Wtf does that mean? We should accept the fact we’re a feeder club now?
The “bankrupt club”, as your supreme leader Gerry named it, has no problem issuing hands off warning for their most prized players and they have no problems giving them deserved wages. I don’t see them struggle with this direction, meanwhile we’re back in banter era.
Moreover, something like that would never come out of a lifelong AC Milan fan, which only confirms you’re one of the Gerry bandwagoners.
I see you missed the Bend of the Berlusconi era in which ALL the major stars were sold – Kaka’, Shevchenko, Thiago Silva, Ibrahimovic etc. Does EVERYTHING need to be explained to you? Why do you think under Berlusconi those players were sold? Because Milan, and Italian clubs in general, were no longer the wealthiest clubs in the world. It’s simple economics so obviously someone with your limits wouldn’t understand.
Not one person here makes excuses for some of the poor decisions made by the owners. Keep your third world conspiracy theories to yourself.
You dumbf*ck I laid you complete histroy in 3 sentences about Silvio and the downfall in other articles, no need to lecture me.
Third world? Coming from American that’s hilarious. I’m from Europe and my country is Switzerland compared to your sh*thole yanks. Now go kiss your mother goodbye while she leaves for her third job today so she can pay her rent but no insurance.
Sell Tijjani and sign us Paul Pogba. we have signed 4 midfielders in one
If reijnders’s money brings Ederson from Atlanta and keneth Taylor from ajax then it’s good business
Don’t let Reijnders go, sell anyone else but not him.
No way dude, don’t listen to Mansitty, Pay 100 million or leave it dude. Don’t even bother. He’s out best player rn ffs. Heck maybe take Leao and Theo, Loftus Cheat, EmerSOB, Musahsi, Chucky with you Mansitty. Take ’em all for 65 million plus resale clause.
We shouldn’t sell for less than 90-100 mill if Rice can go for that amount Tijji should, teams will come for other players we don’t need ie adli we actually don’t need to sell any star but our owners are cheap so…
Sorry MC, for 60m euro you can only get world class midfielder yunus musah + RLC and bonus superstar divock origoat
TJ going to Man City is all but a done deal. Only thing to agree on is the price. Milan should already know who is going to replace him to improve the team. For 90 million we can replace TJ with both Rayan Cherki and Ricci – overnight we improve the midfield. We need an AM with adept at one-touch passing to advance the ball into the final third. Currently we use Pulisic deep to assist in moving the ball forward when the AM should be doing that. Cherki can produce 20+ assists per season complimenting the front line. With Ricci in the midfield the loss of TJ will be minimized. I wish the best for TJ but his sale could really improve AM.
