The former Inter boss was also questioned on what he expects from Serie A clubs in 2025-26, given the coaching carousel that is currently going on. His comments were relayed by MilanPress.
How will Allegri do at Milan?
“Experienced, he knows Milan and top-level football: he will do well.”
A name you are betting on for next season?
“I said Fazzini, and finally he played a bit more. I really like Liberali. And Lucca can become an excellent centre forward.”
Liberali renewal on pause
As per the latest update from Matteo Moretto, there is ‘still no contact’ between Milan and Liberali for a possible contract renewal, with his current deal set to expire in 12 months.
The lack of movement is concerning given his obvious talent, but the hope is that the new sporting director Igli Tare will sit down with the teenager after attending to more pressing matters.

Riiiiiiight… Because Allegri is known for helping young stars break out in his clubs …
Yep – this is one of the many reasons I didn’t want Allegri..
Exactly, Liberali won’t see the field or extend.
He did help el sharawy, christante, niang, de sciglio make his debut, and locatelli as well I think
We can only hope that Tare will be the shield for the young ones and force Allegri to integrate. We can hope…
How is it possible that a talent like Liberali has the contract, that will expire in a year. Anyway from this management it is expected…. I hope they do not sell him like they did with the other talents that they already sold for pinuts… How i miss the time of Berlusconi and Gagliani! Cardinale will be in Milan history books as one of the worst owners ever…
Camarda, Liberali, Zenoli will never be stars in this Milan team. Calabria was lucky, and it took years for Gabbai to be respected. Camarda and co should have been given more playing time last season, because Milan was very poor. The days of youth player coming through the ranks are over under this management. These young player are going to give 100% or more, but Milan will never give them a chance. Camarda shoud be in the first team, he might not have a break out season but he could grow. Liberali deserve more time with the first time also, he was good in preseason. We rather sign and hope for the best than save money hope our youth player a chance.
Camarda played 10 Serie A matches and 4 Champions League matches last season, while Bartesaghi played 4 Serie A matches and 1 Champions League matches.
I also advocate for more playing time, but I can see there’s already affort to integrate them into the first team without too much pressure on them.
Liberali and Zenoli are the ones I expect to be tried also this season.
10 matches playing 5-15 minutes each, The boy looks sharp each time he plays, Time to get some real minutes, we have enough firepower Infront.
“I also advocate for more playing time, but…”
We’re both saying the same thing, you don’t have to prove any further point, just agree.
Also, a look just showed he played 200 minutes in Serie A last season
I remember only mattia sciglio that allegri promote to Milan first team. Hope liberali, bartesaghi and camarda have bit more time with the team.
Please no more Ricci / rovella drama. No talent, averaged players. Overrated players by Italian media. Lost again Norway 2-0 and spalletti get sacked. What do you expect?? Haha…
He promotes christante as well, maybe locatelli. Other youngsters is el sharawy and saponara
Allegri always eat instant noodles
Hahahaha…
Those are fighting words!
