Ismael Bennacer and Fikayo Tomori are both expected to be back in time for AC Milan’s clash against Tottenham on Tuesday. This is big news for Stefano Pioli, who will be able to field a rather strong XI.
Tomori sustained an injury against Lazio and has since been working individually at Milanello. Bennacer, meanwhile, suffered his injury in training just after he served a suspension in the league, but he has now also recovered.
According to Pietro Mazzara of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan), the duo is expected to take part in today’s training session at Milanello. This will give them enough time to get back in shape ahead of the game against Tottenham.
The three-man defence could thus consist of Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori and Malick Thiaw against the English side. The latter centre-back has impressed lately and it would be interesting to see him from start in such a big game for Milan.
