Mattia Caldara is back to full fitness and could be involved in AC Milan’s game against Napoli after the international break, a report claims.
Caldara joined the Rossoneri from Juventus in a swap deal with Leonardo Bonucci last summer, however his time at the club has been decimated by injuries so far.
The last game he played for Milan was back on April 24th in the Coppa Italia against Lazio, when he ruptured the cruciate ligament of his left knee ruling him out for six months.
The road to recovery was long for Caldara, however last month he took part in some Primavera games, making his competitive return when he played 45 minutes against Cremonese.
According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it), Caldara is finally ready to return to the field, and the defender could even feature against Napoli – although it is unlikely he will start.
However, it is possible that his first start could be against Parma a week later.
