There is still uncertainty surrounding the current situation regarding the future of Milan’s head coach position, a report claims.
There are conflicting reports from different media outlets at present regarding the future of Milan’s head coaching position. Some believe Rangnick is set to occupy a role as both manager and sporting director, while others think Pioli could stay on as the German has not reached an agreement.
According to what is being reported by SportMediaset (via MilanNews), the situation regarding the Rossoneri bench is not yet defined. Stefano Pioli is held in high esteem by the club’s American owners Elliott Management Corporation and over time the chances of him staying increase.
However, the Rangnick track remains alive, with the German entrusted to lead a new revolution and with about €130million transfer budget available to build a Milan of strong and talented young players.
This comes after a report form the same outlet earlier in the week revealed Rangnick is studying Italian for six hours a day in order to be prepared for the move.
