Mediaset: Fiorentina add Origi to long list of striker targets

By Euan Burns -

Fiorentina have expressed interest in signing Divock Origi from AC Milan this summer but they have other targets that could be signed instead, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset (via Milan News), La Viola are in the market for a new striker and Origi is one of the linked names.

As well as the Belgian, they are looking at M’Bala Nzola from Spezia and Duvan Zapata from Atalanta.

Given Gianluca Scamacca is about to arrive at Atalanta, a move for Zapata could become easier to complete.

Milan are very keen to offload Origi as soon as they can because he is not remotely part of Stefano Pioli’s plans and they stand to make a capital gain on him given he arrived for free a year ago.

With Scamacca leaving West Ham, the Premier League side may now act on their reported interest in Origi to take him back to England.

  1. What’s the equivalent of sempremilan / sempreinter dot com… is there a sempreviola or similar?

We need to all be on there posting anonymously that Origi just needed some time to settle and how he’s got all the attributes to be a top Serie A striker 😜

Would love Fiorentina to do us a favor and buy him. And who knows maybe he would do well playing regularly for a mid table side. Not sure they’d pay his wages in full though, even if they do get the Amrabat money.

    1. I have a difficult time seeing how fiorentina would be able to pay his salary so i would take that rumor with a grain of salt.
