Mediaset: Ibrahimovic ‘annoyed’ with situation at Milan; Donnarumma also heading for exit

By Oliver Fisher -

A few of AC Milan’s key players are at risk due to the revolution that CEO Ivan Gazidis is planning for the summer, a report claims.

The Rossoneri appear to be in turmoil at the moment. Multiple reports are claiming that Boban is set to be sacked after he spoke out regarding CEO Ivan Gazidis’ decision to go behind the backs of the directors and agree a deal with Ralf Rangnick for next season. Paolo Maldini could follow him out of the door.

According to what Claudio Raimondi has told SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already expressed his annoyance for the situation that has arisen over the last few days.

Boban and Maldini were highly influential in persuading him to come back in January, and it appears that they will not last until the summer.

The Swede also would not be at the centre of Rangnick’s project, which is based around the principle of athletic freshness and intensity. This mix of perspectives increase Ibra’s doubts about his future in the Rossoneri. Even his agent, Mino Raiola, also has strong doubts about another of his clients, namely Gigio Donnarumma.

Gazidis’ new AC Milan has a maximum salary of €2.5m-a-year per player euros. Both Ibra and Gigio earn much more and therefore the real risk is that their salaries are no longer viable.
