Mediaset: Milan and Fiorentina in talks over swap – deal seems to satisfy all parties

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Fiorentina are in talks over a swap deal that will ‘satisfy all parties involved’, according to a report.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) are reporting that talks are underway between the Rossoneri and La Viola over a swap deal involving Lucas Paquetà and Nikola Milenkovic at Milan.

The two clubs are studying the exchange as it is one that could satisfy all the parties involved, both the teams and the players themselves. Milan are looking for a central defender and the first name on the list, at the specific request of Stefano Pioli, is Milenkovic.

The Serbia international is on a deal which expires in 2022 and he does not seem willing to renew his contract. Milenkovic is highly appreciated at Milanello also for his flexibility as he is able to play both centre-back and right-back.

Paqueta, meanwhile, is no longer central to the Milan project, but he is a player held in high esteem by Fiorentina.
