Mediaset: Milan could announce Ibrahimovic’s renewal tonight as rumours emerge

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is getting closer to a renewal with AC Milan. Arriving on a six-month deal in January, the time has come to make a definite decision on his future, following what has been a successful return to the club.

By the looks of it, the Swede will stay the club beyond this season. According to SportMediaset, as cited by MilanNews.it, tumours have been circulating since last night that Ibrahimovic’s renewal could be announced tonight.

The Rossoneri will take on Cagliari at 20:45 and just like with Stefano Pioli and the Sassuolo clash, the announcement could be made after the game. The player’s entourage, for the time being, hasn’t confirmed nor denied this information.

The 38-year-old, who will turn 39 in October, will play from the start this evening and after bagging a brace last time out, he’s hungry for more. It remains to be seen if the evening will be crowned with the renewal as well.
