Mediaset: Milan in a hurry to sign €30m Chelsea midfielder and want Real Madrid striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have two more concrete targets in mind after sealing the signings of two midfield players, according to a report.

It has been a busy few days for the Rossoneri management and they finally agreed a renewal with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and negotiated the arrivals of Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz.

According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Paolo Maldini and co. are not done there. They are insisting on securing the return of Tiemoué Bakayoko, and in the next few hours contacts with Chelsea will resume.

Milan are in a hurry to close the deal because they want to make the French midfielder available to Pioli for the match on September 17 against Shamrock Rovers in the second qualifying round for the Europa League.

The formula for this operation will be a loan with option to buy set at €30-32m, though the option figure is what the clubs still need to work out.

Milan are also looking for a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and for this reason the name of Luka Jovic of Real Madrid is back in fashion.

To buy him outright would cost a lot and for this reason the Rossoneri’s idea is to sign him on a dry loan.
