Mediaset: Milan could include resale clause in offer for De Ketelaere

By Isak Möller -

Charles De Ketelaere has been heavily linked with AC Milan in the last few weeks and the negotiations are seemingly heating up. In fact, the Rossoneri might have found a way to get the deal over the line, a report claims.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have already made an official offer for the young Belgian, but it was immediately rejected by Club Brugge as the €20m was deemed too low. Therefore, a new offer is in the works.

According to Mediaset, as cited by MilanNews, Milan are studying the idea of including a few counterparts in the deal. To bridge the gap completely, they could also include a future resale clause of 20% in favour of Club Brugge.

De Ketelaere has already spoken with both Divock Origi and Alexis Saelemaekers, eager to join the Rossoneri and continue to play in the Champions League. New updates could arrive in the coming days as negotiations are ongoing.

    1. It also may be a way to trick Club Brugge into selling. Don’t think they have plans to sell him since they are working really hard to get him in the first place

  1. Give them any Primavera player they want except Chaka Traore and give them the 20% resale clause.
Milan Primavera is among the worst in Italy
Resale clause is only valid if you sell the player. If he turns great and he gets sold for 100mil + Milan still makes a lot of profit .
    Just bring him in

  2. Hope next week I’ll be writing here: “welcome on board, Mr. CDK.”

The boy is a very good player and will be a fantastic signing.

  3. It’s good that they are doing everything possible to get CDK to the team. Hope it shall turn to a good news
