Mediaset: Milan and Romangoli working on renewal – the current figures as Juventus lurk

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on the renewal of Alessio Romagnoli but there is a small distance between his requests and the offer on the table, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) published an article in their paper today which specifically looked at Romagnoli’s situation, reporting that it was the player himself who has taken some steps to try and find an agreement with Milan, adding that Romagnoli could decide to try and handle talks alone because of Milan’s non-idyllic relationship with Raiola.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) writes that the 26-year-old currently earns €6m net per season and Milan have proposed a renewal of around €3m per year but the request of the Rossoneri captain is around €3.5-4m per season.

Juventus remain at the window observing what happens with the former Roma man as they will be looking for the long-term heirs to Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci given their advanced age.
