The rumours that AC Milan could seriously pursue Luis Alberto are beginning to gather momentum, with another report suggesting he is a target.
According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan are giving serious though to the idea of a concrete pursuit of Luis Alberto to reinforce the midfield. The Spaniard joined Lazio joined the preseason retreat in Auronzo di Cadore but he has two options on the table: to clarify his future definitively with Lazio or to leave this summer.
At the moment there is no negotiation with the Rossoneri, but the broadcaster adds to pay attention to developments. Lazio for their part are wanting €45-50m for the playmaker but the deal could include players like Rafael Leao, Mattia Caldara or Samu Castillejo as counterparts.
With the lights off, Milan are beginning to think about Alberto seriously, so the hypothesis is not to be discarded for the time being.

Both Sabitzer and Vlasic seem better options. And cheaper.
Plus, might be better to give Leao some more time and an actual chance? Especially since we now have two proper CFs Ibra and Giroud who will take most of the attacking load under their shoulders. Leao’s skills and potentials are undisputed; it is how we fully unlock them.
Nah Luis Alberto is a good enough option considering he is Serie A proven. Knows the league.
Sabitzer plays in a inferior league. Though I won’t mind him coming
Vlasic plays in a league comparable to Serie B. Will take time to adjust so I will take Alberto over him anyway but the point is how much do Lazio want.
Mattia Caldara AND Samu Castillejo + 15-20 milions could be a good deal.
Alberto doesn’t fit the press system we play lol. And you think he’s worth 45-50M??? Ya right. 50m gets you Valhovic. If Lazio are dumb enough to swap him for Caldara and Sammu fine. But Leao too? That would be insane. Buy Stabizer and end this nonsense.
