Mediaset: Milan’s path for Tonali clear as Inter focus on swap deal for €50m Chelsea star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to have a clear path to land Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali as Inter have cooled their interest, a report claims.

Despite it seeming like the 20-year-old was on his way to rivals Inter, speculation has exploded over the last few weeks suggesting that Milan are pushing strongly for Tonali.

Vito Angele on Twitter is claiming that Milan are advancing strongly for the Italy international, and it is an operation strongly desired by owners Elliott Management Corporation, with an improved offer to be sent shortly.

According to reports from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), the Tonali-Inter track has cooled down, as the Nerazzurri are now looking at other targets.

Antonio Conte would like Chelsea star N’Golo Kanté, but the Blues are asking for €50m. Inter are hoping to lower the demands of the west London club with a counterpart like Milan Skriniar, but PSG also likes the defender a lot.

The Parisians could include Leandro Paredes in the operation, but the bottom line is that Inter are no longer pushing for Tonali.
