Noah Okafor was in a car accident prior to arriving at Switzierland’s camp and the medical staff decided to send him back to Milano upon arrival. Fortunately, as a report claims, it’s nothing too serious.
The Swiss Football Federation announced earlier today that they had sent Okafor home due to ‘a minor head injury’. More details have now surfaced on the matter and the Milan fans can remain calm.
According to SportMediaset, as cited by MilanNews, Okafor (who wasn’t driving) was in a minor car accident prior to joining the Swiss camp and suffered a cut to his eyebrow. He needed a few stitches and the Switzerland medical staff thus decided to send him home.
The former Red Bull Salzburg man will be available for the game against Juventus after the break, and to resume training at Milanello in the coming days. Milan will be hoping that there won’t be any more injuries this break, though, that’s for sure.
Loool what news!
Something doesn’t add up. If its minor and just an eyebrow cut, why would they send him home?
