AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has resolved the final two selection doubts he had in his mind ahead of tonight’s Supercoppa Italiana clash against Inter, a report claims.
According to Claudio Raimondi in connection from Riyadh for SportMediaset on Italia Uno (via MilanNews), Pioli has made a decision on the final two places that were up for grabs ahead of tonight’s game, thus deciding on his starting XI.
In defence, Simon Kjaer won the battle with Pierre Kalulu to partner up with Fikayo Tomori in the centre of the Rossoneri rearguard, while Junior Messias will be preferred to Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing.
The rest of the defence will consist of Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez as the full-backs ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal, with a midfield double pivot of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer, plus Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz in the attacking trident behind Olivier Giroud.
The best match. Pioli needs to train squad for three defender, specially if Leao is going to leave next year.
Give CDK a chance in second half. He is closer and closer to his first goal.
The key is giroud, if he score we have a chance, if he plays just like matches before then we are in trouble
This has to be Diaz last match if he doesn’t perform. Give CDK the starting place if Diaz cannot make magic happen
This is the best lineup Milan can put out there right now. Let’s hope it is good enough to win.
No better RW since Suso !
Tata will concede with a free kick
I hope we destroy inter milan. Forza milan, he must give other players chances in the 2nd half
