AC Milan could announce the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as early as tomorrow with negotiations at a very advanced stage, a report claims.
As reported by Claudio Raimondi on SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic should sign his contract renewal tomorrow. The Swede had already sent messages while he was away with the national team expressing love and trust in the Rossoneri project.
The 39-year-old should therefore extend his deal for another season, at a slightly lower salary figure than the current one. The report states that he should earn €6.5m fixed plus another €500k bonus in case of qualification for the Champions League.
MilanNews are also reporting that the Rossoneri and the Swede will have ‘one more year together’. In recent weeks the Swedish striker has negotiated the renewal of the contract with the Rossoneri management and in the last few days they have reached an agreement over a year-long extension.
