AC Milan are closing in on reaching a full agreement with Gianluigi Donnarumma regarding the renewal of his contract, a report claims.
Donnarumma came out before Sunday’s game against Fiorentina and declared his desire to stay at Milan for a long time, which is obviously a fantastic starting point in negotiations.
According to what SportMediaset are reporting (via MilanNews), the will of Milan and of Donnarumma is continue, even if for the moment there is no agreement between the management and agent Mino Raiola.
The Rossoneri are pushing for a four-year extension worth €7million net per season – which would be a pay rise from the current €6m he earns – while Donnarumma’s entourage are asking for a three-year deal at €8m.
The distance between offer and demand is however minimal and should be easily bridged, so much so that the white smoke is now one step away and Milan can begin to start planning an announcement.
