SM: Milan agree €14m contract with Origi – the possible date of his medical

By SempreMilan -

AC Milan will soon be able to officially welcome Divock Origi as a summer signing and the potential date of his medical has now emerged.

As reported by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Milan have defined the agreement for the arrival of Origi on a free transfer and the Belgian will sign a four-year contract worth €3.5m net per season plus bonuses.

The Rossoneri management are awaiting the arrival of Origi in Italy to undergo the routine medical examinations that will presumably take place after the Champions League final which will see the Reds play against Real Madrid.

It could therefore be that Monday 30 June is the day designated for Origi’s arrival in Milano. On that day the player will also officially conclude his working relationship with Liverpool and, also out of respect for his current club, he will not sign any contract with Milan before the end of the season.

  1. Origi is a type of player who relish in big matches. But not in ordinary matches. So Milan still need another striker unless Ibra extend his contract

  2. I love Origi and am a big supporter of this signing; but I do agree that we need to sign another striker. Ibra and Giroud are old and Lazetic is a teenager/baby still with no real experience. Having Origi’s profile and his age is great; but we need one more who is in mid to late 20s who can score.

  3. this is clueless, we have to pay for giroud until 2024 and now we go for 27 year old middle class striker which is used to be supported from Mane/Salah. Must be a joke. We really would need a replacement for IBRA. A striker with huge understanding of the game (like Ibra) Giroud doesent understand soccer, he is not bad and has cool skills but he is not playing the game. A false nine can be of help too for us (like Firmino did at Anfield for a long time)

Buy a teenager like Roco Simic and let him grow next to giroud, otherwise you will have to turn back time and not buy giroud.

    1. I laugh at your comment when you said Giroud doesn’t understand soccer..pls mr soccer why did you say so?? Cause I see no talk in what you said

    2. yeah i’ve head this kind of bull crap all season from your id, so expected nothing less than a bull crap, but oh shit you’ve outdone yourself, you’ve come up with batshit, which is more useless than bullcrap ofcourse. Funnyy, huhh! Giroud Doesn’t understand Soccer 🤣

    3. @Nesta lol. With all due respect not sure you know what you are talking about. Giroud doesn’t understand soccer?? Lol. Come on man. Origi is a solid signing for FREE and for 3.5M a season. Very reasonable. Yes we do need more for that position than just Origi BUT Belotti isn’t it lol. Think bigger and better. Sanches, Origi and Botman are solid starts in the market. TY M&M. More to come hopefully once ownership is resolved

      1. @juro this Nesta account have equal quality in comment here. Imagine Nesta want striker like roko simic while Zoro caloro want belotti, both just average quality and still below Giroud or Origi. If AC Milan still want to invest striker probably just Darwin Nunez or nkunku

        1. Baised on what do you say that Belotti is below Origi or even Giroud for that matter lol ? Origi has alwayes been a third choise striker who scores around 6-7 goals per season on average. His best is 9goals in a season as a starter. And that is all while playing for teams that are better then Torino. Belotti scored 28goals in one season playing for a team like Torino, basicly carying them by himself. Giroud was a good striker in his prime no doubt, but even he can’t be considered as someone who is above Belotti if you take everything in consideration. You know that there is a reason why Origi is valued at 12mil at the moment while Belotti is 28mil. The only problem with Belotti is that he signed that renew with Torino which preatty much destroyed his career.
P.S As for Simic that dude looks like the next Haland, i wont mind if we take him as a youngster and then loan him out to grow.

      2. Origi is the perfect striker for us. if we sign him we’ll turn him into a more dangerous striker just like we did with Tonali. This is a good deal . 27 years is not bad , the guy can go 4 to 5 years without any problem. I see Milan in quarter finals of the champions league and in pole position in the league

  4. Guy is meh. Imagine going from being supported by Salah, Mane, etc. And then having Leao (great but inconsistent) and Diaz and Saelemaekers supporting him…. not going to be anywhere near as decent (yes decent) as he is for Liverpool. We’re really missing the boat on Belotti for the same price.

  5. all of you Origi haters are going to be very happy how wrong you are this time next year when he has 20 goals.

  6. Don’t compare Belotti to Origi. Have you forgotten the goal he scored against Milan, he could easily bag brace against Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Roma etc. Sign him now. Look at how he punished Barcelona in the 4:0 encounter at Anfield. Inter will sound envious about the signing of that hero

  7. I think Milan should consider letting Ibra retire, and then sign Belloti and Origi. Giroud can serve as support in case of injury. Besides, they will need his experience.
