It has been confirmed that AC Milan will be without two key players for Sunday’s vital trip to Atalanta.
The Rossoneri travel to Bergamo in search of what would be a third straight win away from home, a result which would in the process trip the gap on their Lombardy neighbours to four points.
However, head coach Stefano Pioli will face La Dea without two of his main creative players, as the Sporting Judge has confirmed that Theo Hernandez and Lucas Paqueta will be disqualified after picking up yellow cards in the 0-0 draw against Sassuolo at the weekend.
The Frenchman and his Brazilian team-mate have both collected five yellow cards for the season so far and, as per league rules, they will miss the difficult trip to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri.
The only other selection issues are those of Mattia Caldara – who continues his recovery from an eight-month absence – and Leao Duarte who will be out until at least February.
Meanwhile, centre-back Mateo Musacchio is the closest to reaching a bad: he has three cautions for the season thus far.
