La Stampa: Milan launch €20m bid for Botman while Belotti waits for the Rossoneri’s call

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made an offer to Lille for Sven Botman while the Rossoneri continue to be the first choice destination of Andrea Belotti, it is claimed.

This morning’s edition of La Stampa (via MilanNews) writes that the management are trying hard to bring Botman to Milan in the current winter transfer window. He is the number one target to come in and cover for Simon Kjaer’s absence as well as being a long-term option.

In fact, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have offered €20m to Lille for the Dutchman in an attempt to get them to sell before the end of the month, the newspaper are claiming.

Meanwhile, they go on to mention that Andrea Belotti has decided not to renew his contract expiring in June with Torino and therefore in the summer he will leave on a free transfer. Toronto have come forward but the Italian wants to join his boyhood club Milan instead.

  1. Hope they go for Belotti also. We are still at the place where we can’t be splashing money on every single player we need. Have to be opportunistic picking good players that are expiring on contract so that we can then spend money where we absolutely have to.
