CM: Milan one of several sides chasing Kjaergaard – the details of the midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are one of several clubs that are interested in signing Maurits Kjaergaard from Red Bull Salzburg and his profile is very intriguing.

As reported by, the Danish midfielder is a player that both Milan and city rivals Inter are interested in signing, as well as other Italian clubs.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been a major force for the Austrian side so far this season and it seems that it is only a matter of time before he is prized away from Salzburg.

he has played 16 times in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, scoring twice and registering for assists in the process. He put in six impressive displays in the Champions League as well against Milan, Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb.

He started all six of those games, showing the faith that the coach has in such a young midfielder. He has started 75% of his 16 Bundesliga games this season too.

  1. This fellow left me truly great impression. And given the fact that Danish players thrive in Serie A, I’ve no doubt he’ll suit in well.
But aside of Milan & Inter, I’ve heard that Napoli and Roma are also keen to have him in their squad.

  2. Milan won’t sign anyone over 21 or under 35. lol. Nobody in the prime of their career. And when their good young players reach their prime, they let them go elsewhere. Sad state of affairs for this once great club.

    1. “Milan won’t sign anyone over 21 or under 35.”

So… Did you even read the article? It says Kjaergaard is 19 so why waste time writing your nonsense about age groud Kjaergaard isn’t included?

      1. Clearly you didn’t read or understand what I wrote. He is 19 which means he is under 21. Milan acting like they are playing in an under 21 league.

  3. The problem with milan is they are interested in lots of players but then take ages to conclude the deal …. then it will be too late!!!!!
