CM: Milan want to give young forwards experience – latest on Colombo, Nasti and Lazetic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on signings to make sure that the attack is well stocked ahead of the 2022-23 season but that could mean some of the younger forwards depart.

Calciomercato.com report how the management are preparing to go into next season with Olivier Giroud, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (from January, he should renew) and new signing Divock Origi as centre-forwards, plus Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao as emergency options.

That is why they are working on sending some young strikers out on loan to gain more experience, starting with Lorenzo Colombo who should join Lecce on loan who have just been promoted to the top flight. Colombo spent last season in Serie B with SPAL, scoring six times.

Then there is Marko Lazetic, an 18-year-old Serbian striker who arrived in January from the Red Star for €4m. The Rossoneri strongly believe in him and are looking for accommodation in Italy on loan, be that in Serie A or in Serie B (Cagliari enquired).

The same goes for Marco Nasti who lit up the Primavera with 18 goals in 29 appearances across the league, Youth League and Coppa Italia. Palermo and several other clubs in Serie B want him.
