MN: Milan’s Coppa Italia clash against Inter expected to be a sell-out

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s home Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter tomorrow night should be played in front of a sell-out crowd, according to a report.

MilanNews report how there is great anticipation for tomorrow night’s derby at San Siro, which will be the first leg of two to see who qualifies for the final in Rome, with the second leg not due to be played for another six weeks.

For the match between the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri tomorrow, over 50,000 tickets have already been sold. We are therefore heading towards a sell out when considering that the stadium capacity will be at 75%, so the total number of tickets available is around 56,000.

A response is needed from Stefano Pioli’s side after they disappointed again on Friday night, dropping points against relegation threatened Udinese at home a week after they were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom-placed side Salernitana, so a big performance in the derby is a requirement.
