As the summer window gets closer and closer the Milan management will have to define their strategy for each department, including the attack.
TMW recall that seven months have passed since the purchase of Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge. The 21-year-old was the most expensive acquisition of the summer transfer market, but the performance of the Belgian playmaker have been decidedly below expectations, with no goals to his name thus far.
The investment of €35m was significant and now the player has to prove his worth, even if Milan’s intention is clear at the moment: they will put their trust in De Ketelaere next season and an exit either on loan or a sale are not being considered.
As for the Brahim Diaz issue, the Rossoneri’s idea is to buy him permanently but at a lower figure than the pre-agreed option to buy. The will of the player will be decisive in the talks with Real Madrid, and he is very happy in Milan.
That’s perfect, so we’ll end up with 2 average to below average attacking mids with around 50-60m wrapped up in them. Wow…. impressive work management!
I just know that we should force our player much more than real madrid’s player, if diaz has any good stats ,many goals or asissts i wouldn’t say a thing, but based on his stats he had undeserved playing time
Diaz belongs in Spain. Buying him would be a mistake
Pass on Diaz. He’s done nothing to convince he’s worth 15-20M it would take to buy him. Sign Aouar on a FREE and it’s solves all our problems as he can play ACM (if CDK still not ready or Adli for that matter next season) and he can also play deeper in the mid or in a mid 3 which also helps to relieve pressure on Benny and Tonali having to play every game. Would also rather have Adli get Diaz minutes so we can see that this kid is made of. Bottom line Diaz isn’t worth the investment IMO – rather spend the $$ on Aouar’s salary
That’s a good idea, Aouar would be a good addition. 3 man mid for sure and not waste money on signing Diaz outright.
