AC Milan are hoping to follow up the renewal of Fikayo Tomori by extending the contract of several more key players, a report claims.
MilanNews write how Tomori followed in the footsteps of Theo Hernandez by renewing his contract with Milan until June 2027, giving fans peace of mind in what is a very positive statement regarding the future of the project.
Tomori’s choice to extend was dictated by multiple factors, and Milan believe that it will soon be followed by Sandro Tonali’s renewal as well as those of Rade Krunic and Pierre Kalulu, with talks ongoing and a sense of calm.
Then there is the situation of Ismael Bennacer, who – after having reached an agreement on a salary of €3.2-3.5m net per season at the beginning of the year – asked time and for more money (the same as Theo).
Then, Milan will try in every way to find an agreement with Rafael Leao to keep him at the club for a long time. The €150m clause could be one of the points on which the negotiations with Jorge Mendes will focus, because removing it would be very advantageous for the Rossoneri, but Mendes is not easy to deal with.

We need to retain Isma and Rafa.
If we get them over the line, I’m confident the others will renew. But those 2 in particular to retain our youthful core and to remain consistent.
If M&M get it right, Milan can be sorted for the next 5 years.
