CM.it: Milan build a list of potential long-term Ibrahimovic replacement – the names

By Oliver Fisher -

The Milan management have begun to look around for the successor to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and they have reportedly got several names on their wish list.

According to Calciomercato.it, more will be known about the future of Ibrahimovic in the spring, but in the meantime Milan have begun to look around for potential heirs to the Swede given that he is 40 years of age and he has shown in the last 18 months that even he cannot defy physical problems.

Not to mention that his deputy is also north of 35 in Olivier Giroud and has also suffered with injuries this season, never really looking like being at 100%, so Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are jotting down some names for the future.

The report mentions 22-year-old Canada international Jonathan David of Lille as being one of the targets, while they are also admirers of Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge who has shown off in Europe.

Then there is Gianluca Scamacca as an option who already knows the league well – though Inter are the most concrete team on him – and finally a compatriot of Ibrahimovic himself in Alexander Isak, though there is a suggestion he could fetch as much as €50m.

  1. Our management are just Bunch of confused individuals …..they should continue with there careless act right now the best option for Eliot is to sale milan he can’t run milan

    1. Lewandowski is Legend who is a short term solution because of his age.

Milan needs to watch on long term solutions and needs to invest on young players like Leao, Tonali .

I would be interested in Haaland or Imbappe.
