Milan are always on the look-out for good opportunities on the market, wanting to find the best deals within their budget. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have impressed before and now January is around the corner.
In addition to a centre-back, the Rossoneri might need to reinforce the right-wing, although Alexis Saelemaekers has done a good job there recently. Many names have been linked with the club, including Marseille star Florian Thauvin.
As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are observing the situation as the player’s contract will expire next summer. It doesn’t look like he will renew his contract either, meaning the Rossoneri perhaps could bring him in for free.
The problem, however, is the salary requests of the winger: he wants €5m per year to join on a free transfer. Sure, the Rossoneri don’t have to pay a transfer fee, but it doesn’t go well with their wage policy.

Thauvin is a player and milan need players like him.
