AC Milan were back at Milanello this morning after the 1-0 win in the first leg of the Champions League against Napoli. And they will have to shift focus quickly, taking on Bologna this Saturday evening.
Milan managed to beat Napoli for a second time this season thanks to a goal from Ismael Bennacer. It was the Rossoneri’s first win against the Partenopei at home since 2014, believe it or not, when Jeremy Menez scored a world-class goal.
The players were in good spirits at the training ground today, therefore, and the ones that started yesterday worked in the gym. The others, meanwhile, worked on the pitch and it’s likely that quite a few of them will start on Saturday.
Milan will have a training session tomorrow morning too, as stated on the official website, and then they will travel to Bologna in the afternoon. This means that they will only have one proper training (including all the players) before the clash.
There will be no press conference with Pioli for the game.
