The January mercato is often a fluid month, but updates have been arriving particularly fast over the past 24 hours. The latest concerns a double battle between AC Milan and Juventus.

According to Sky, there are two forwards at the centre of attention when it comes to Milan and Juventus’ plans: Randal Kolo Muani and Marcus Rashford. Both are expected to depart their respective clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United before the window closes.

The Rossoneri are not giving up on the Frenchman, but the Bianconeri think they are in pole position. In addition to the two Italian clubs, Kolo Muani is also the subject of interest from some Premier League teams, such as Manchester United.

During the current season, Kolo Muani has played 10 games with two goals and one assist for PSG. He does not seem to be a big part of Luis Enrique’s plans, and thus an exit has been sanctioned. Milan and Juve have been linked with a move for the past couple of weeks.

There is also a lot of competition for Rashford. There is interest from the Diavolo and the Old Lady in the Englishman, but not only those two. In fact, the agents of the United outcast met with Barcelona on Friday as they continue to try find the right accommodation.

  1. Another profile we should be closely looking at is Leroy Sane. He is a free agent in 6 months. 28 years old and in my opinion better player than Rashford, his wages are less too. He can play out wide or even up front. Proven winner with Germany, Manc and Bayern. Having him Pulisic and Leao would be great.

    1. He’s not. French people don’t understand why he’s still called for national duty. He had only one good season in his entire career. He’s just another reject.

      1. He’s looked good to me whenever I’ve seen him but I guess it’s a moot point as we probably won’t get him anyway. Management seems set on Rashford…

  2. We know how this usually ends. Anytime there are other clubs in the running for our market targets, we lose out because our managers are incompetent. They lowball players, they antagonize agents, they stall, until more agile clubs step in and poach out the player.

Whenever I hear that some other club shares the same targets with us, I get very pessimistic about our chances.

  3. No to Rashford

Yes to Muani – BUT – PSG are not just going to give him away. They spent 77M on him and they are not just going to dump him to us for 20M ish (our transfer cap). So again this is pure fantasy.

AT BEST we spend the 17M – 20M we made from the Suppercoppa. That’s about it for January.

    Trincao seems more likely

      1. LOL. Yes I did you donkey. They said we can have him only if you stop eating out Cardinale’s a$$ each morning and only do it on the weekends. Can you handle that for the good of the club? The odds are against you kid!?! Gross
