GdS: Stance of Milan and Kessie outlined as PSG and Tottenham register interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are no closer to securing the renewal of midfielder Franck Kessie while two clubs from abroad are continuing to push to land him, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that the issue of Kessie’s renewal – with his current contract expiring on June 30th – continues to be discussed at Casa Milan, but for now there is nothing positive to mention because talks have stalled.

There is still a big difference between what the Rossoneri have offered and what the Ivorian is demanding. Kessie currently earns €2.2m net per season but is asking for €8m in order to remain, while Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have offered €6.5m but are not willing to go higher.

There are two teams above all who continue to show interest in the former Atalanta man as PSG and Tottenham remain on his trail.
