CorSport: Milan lining up Kessie’s replacement who has declared he is ‘ready to go’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are lining up a replacement for Franck Kessie and they have been boosted by his public declarations in the media, according to a report.

Sanches spoke during an interview with Portuguese source A Bola and was asked about what the future holds for him, admitting that he knows of a club who are interested in signing him and that he is ‘ready’ when the right offer comes along.

“I have spoken to my agent, I know which club is interested, but for now I cannot reveal it. I know I’m ready to go. If a proposal comes along, I’ll see what’s best for me,” he said.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the words of Sanches out in the open effectively meant that he is putting himself on the market. The 24-year-old midfielder, will not renew his contract with Lille which expires in 2023 and Milan have been following him for some time.

Given that the Rossoneri are currently in line to lose Franck Kessie on a free transfer, they could recruit Rafael Leao’s compatriot – who he also shares an agent with – in order to fill a gap for the midfield.

  1. A midfield that looks more complete next summer with sanches, tonali, bennacer, pobega and adli at CAM role with flurry of creativity with faivre and a striker the team would be complete
