AC Milan could follow the model that has led Premier League side Liverpool to success under the new ownership of RedBird Capital Group, a report claims.
As has been analysed by Tuttosport today, via Milan News, RedBird founder Gerry Cardinale recently spoke about the way in which they use data and how that has been implemented at Liverpool, a club who are owned by the Fenway Sports Group which RebBird have a stake in.
He explained that these methods have worked well with Liverpool and Ligue 1 side Toulouse who are also under the same umbrella and that is what will be brought to Milan.
Under FSG, Liverpool have managed to deliver a long-awaited Premier League title, won the Champions League, and won the FA Cup. They have also been to two other Champions League finals but lost in both to Real Madrid.
Cardinale’s comments clearly show they want to take the club forward rather than keep it where it is competitively.
