AC Milan are searching for another striker in addition to Divock Origi after the news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for the rest of the year.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), it could well be a surprise name that arrives in the summer and they launch the idea that Romelu Lukaku might be it. The Belgian is ready to return to Italy and could represent a ‘last minute’ solution on loan, even if a significant salary cut would be required.
At the moment the idea is either to sign a striker who can make a difference via a loan deal or to sign a young striker who can grow behind the incoming Origi and the veteran Olivier Giroud.
Marko Lazetic should leave on loan and this is where the idea of a loan move for his compatriot Luka Jovic could come back into fashion, but we would have to understand if he is willing to be a third choice given he has struggled for playing time at Real Madrid.

Why? Lukaku is about 300% better than Belotti. Why would we get an average striker, we already have Giroud who is probably better than him.
Lukaku never scores against top clubs. Literally never. He is kinda a good striker to smash small clubs, but totally useless against big ones.
I don’t expect Milan to sign big name, big money striker this summer. Whoever comes in will be just 3rd choice behind Origi and Giroud and next summer big name will come in.
I expect big things from Origi, he’ll prove a lot of fans wrong who say that he is just a bench warmer.
Wouldn’t mind a Cutrone on loan . Kid is already a back up in Empoli , might as well be a back up at the club he loves
Jovic is a flop in Big Teams Lukako is a flop in Premier League and already said several times that he wants to return to intermierda so dont mention said guy to wear our holy mantle wich is our shirt!
Think taking Jović on loan is a good idea. He might be a flop in real but there really are not a lot of strikers that could take the spot from Benz. Dude is a machine. Jović has potential, maybe a change is what he needs. Lukaku is a no, no. Better flash that cash for Nunez if they wanna spend big
They wouldn’t buy him obviously, but that is the best striker you can get on a loan as Chelsea knows it will be hard to sell him and recoup his fee so maybe a loan where he will get back to form and a transfer year later could be the only option for them if they don’t want to lose a lot.

I wouldn’t take Lukaku if we have other options but realisticaly he could be perfect for this team.
He is not suitable for 4231 or 433. Just skip him, cannot play if Lone striker. Better aim higher profile like Darwin Nunez . Lukaku will ruin AC Milan dressing room if he join on loan
