AC Milan will soon meet with Sassuolo and will then define their strategy regarding the attacking reinforcements they will go for this summer, a report claims.
Carlo Laudisa of La Gazzetta dello Sport spoke on Carlo Pellegatti’s YouTube channel (via MilanLive) and confirmed that Milan ‘will certainly have some news on the attacker’ in the coming days because next week there will be a meeting with Sassuolo.
During that summit they will discuss striker Gianluca Scamacca and Domenico Berardi. The former is the favoured target for the centre-forward role because he is the right age and he is the Italian talent with the greatest potential in his role. Milan are trying to beat the competition from Inter and Napoli.
He adds that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara ‘aim to make an intelligent offer, lower than what Sassuolo wants but certainly with payments that can satisfy the demands of the Emilian club.
Regarding Divock Origi, Scamacca is the ‘first name’ and the Belgian, with whom they started a conversation, is the alternative. At this point Berardi could come into play, representing a plan B to sign along with Origi and address two positions at once.
If we have to choose between Scamacca and no RW or Berardi + Origi, I would definitely choose Berardi + Origi.
Origi is the definition of average. 35 year old giroud is 2x better.
Honestly I think we should put the 30 million euros into raphinaha the Leeds winger he still has room to grow. He has scored 9 goals and 4 assists but berardi is also good but we know what we get and can’t make him grow much more but either winger I hope we get
This report not reliable ,better trust fabrizio Romano that stated maldini aim for origi (striker) or Antovitiello stated maldini aim Asensio for RW ( not sure if we can get him because EPL club’ interesting too) . Our priority target are origi and Asensio,the others just alternative. AC Milan wont pay 40m cash for striker like scamacca just to sit in bench watch Giroud or Ibra play. Better find free transfer striker if just for rotation
