AC Milan are still waiting for Franck Kessie’s final decision regarding his future but in the mean time they can rest easy knowing they already have his possible replacement on their booked.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) dedicates a section headlined “The future is called Pobega” to Milan’s midfielder situation. While Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are waiting to understand what Kessie’s future and decision on a renewal will be, the management are planning for life without him.
That is why the club continues to keep an eye on the growth of young midfielder Tommaso Pobega, who was sent out on loan to Torino and will be part of the technical project regardless of the final choice of the Ivorian.
Pobega has certainly impressed so far under Ivan Juric this season and showed in the recent game at San Siro that he can play as a physical more defensive-minded midfielder if needed.
