MN: Juventus tried to sign Primavera star from Milan in January – the Rossoneri’s response

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan striker Marco Nasti was the subject of interest from Juventus during the January window but negotiations never opened, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Anto Vitiello of MilanNews, Juventus made an approach to sign Nasti in the past month as they saw the chance to add a striker who has been impressive at Primavera level so far under the orders of Federico Giunti.

However, the Milan management immediately said no and Rossoneri never even though about opening negotiations over the 18-year-old because they see him as a big prospect for the future.

His goal in the derby against Inter this afternoon takes his return to 9 goals (and 2 assists) in 12 matches across all competitions for Giunti’s team, and he was promoted to the first team during the recent attacking emergency, with an extension of his deal even mentioned as a hypothesis by Calciomercato.com.

  1. Nah.. If juve had signed him, he would have been loaned out… And Milan will most likely not use him, no matter how well he plays… Serie a teams in recent times have a phobia for young Italians (as well as Primavera players)…

  2. The way Milan treat their players (especially strikers) from Primavera suggests Nasti will find a new club in a couple of years.

Who was the last “own” striker to stay in the club for more than 2-3 seasons? Paloschi? Petagna? And even they enjoyed zero trust from the club and found themselves elsewhere. Just like Cutrone was pushed out almost violently. Colombo & Nasti will be next. They will be replaced by other teenagers from abroad just to be sold for peanuts later.
