Report: Milan have told Pobega that he is in Pioli’s plans next season

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have told Tommaso Pobega that he is part of Stefano Pioli’s plans next season and he will not be loaned out again or sold, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere di Torino (via Milan News), the player who spent the previous season on loan at Torino has done enough to be kept by the Rossoneri and be used in the first team.

It will be a major boost for the player who many thought could have been good enough to have been kept at the club last summer.

Pioli will feel vindicated given Milan won the Scudetto and now they are welcoming Pobega back when he is a much better player who has had a great season working under a smart coach like Ivan Juric.

For this reason, the Rossoneri also want to renew his contract. He is likely to provide more opportunities for rotation in the midfield.
