ESPN pundit suggests Milan as potential destination for Inter’s Lukaku – video

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been named as a potential destination for Romelu Lukaku ahead of next season amid uncertainty regarding his future at Inter.

ESPN did a quick fire questions on their show today and they had Italian football commentator Don Hutchinson as a guest. He was asked about the possibility that Lukaku – who Inter might not be able to afford to sign permanently – could return to play for Chelsea next season under their new manager.

“Hasn’t he burnt enough bridges with the comments that he made? Listen he’s a good striker, I probably see Lukaku staying in Italian football, I could see him playing for someone like AC Milan,” he said.

“Zlatan is 41 and Giroud is 36, Origi hasn’t done it so that might make sense, but if he goes back to Chelsea he’s got to make sure he eats humble pie straight away after the words that he said. Make sure you start scoring and make sure you run around.”

  1. I’ve thought about this tbh lol and if it’s free, why not. At Milan you get pampered which is exactly what Lukaku wants. Plus he’s at a stage where he needs to prove himself worth once more, could be a good gamble (but…..wages)
