Ignazio Abate’s men, i.e. the AC Milan Primavera, will take on Roma later today and the youngsters are in need of a win. The situation in the standings is tight and every win is important.
While Abate’s men have done really well in the UEFA Youth League this season, set to face Hajduk Split in the semi-final, it hasn’t been great in the league. In fact, after 25 games, they are in 15th place with a mere 30 points.
They have won three of their last four league games but remain in the relegation play-offs zone. Today’s away game against Roma, scheduled for 14:30, is thus huge as they would climb to 11th place with a win.
Of course, we will have a match report ready at the end of the clash. Roma are in fourth place so it won’t be an easy game for Abate and his men. However, we know that the Rossoneri can shine (as seen in the UEFA Youth League).
