Francesco Camarda is expected to sign a contract renewal with AC Milan, who are looking to avoid another Mattia Liberali-esque situation.
Camarda spent last season on loan at Lecce and while he didn’t score loads of goals in the end, he did score his first Serie A goal. Furthermore, he learned a lot thanks to decent playing time, even if he wasn’t always a starter for Eusebio Di Francesco’s side.

For the upcoming season, however, where he will play hasn’t been decided yet. It’s believed that Ruben Amorim will test him during the pre-season, and then a decision will be made. That said, there are no doubts about the long-term future.
Renewal on the cards
According to Il Giornale, as cited by MilanNews, Milan are keen on renewing Camarda’s contract un til 2031 and there is expected to be a pay rise involved in that too. This was made clear during the most recent meeting with his agent at Casa Milan.
After the Mattia Liberali case, first losing him to Catanzaro and then to Como, Milan know that they need to nurture their super talent and make him feel part of the project. A similar push is also expected for Christian Comotto, who is another talented player in the team.

What? He just turned 18. Milan brought him up to the first squad to be on the bench and because of that he could’t play for the futuro and that made his development to stall. Then Milan sell him to Lecce that could barely score goals and above that he got a injured for almost 6 months. Milan should have sent him on loan to a Serie B team that they knew would be a attacking team that would not struggle to avoid relegation like Lecce. Camarda gonna be great in Milan if they take care of him.
