MN: Milan and Real Madrid to negotiate over 23-year-old – the will of both sides

AC Milan are gearing up for a negotiation with Real Madrid over the future of Brahim Diaz, according to a report.

According to MilanNews, scoring the decisive goal in the Champions League against Tottenham has once again brought the future of Brahim Diaz under the microscope. The Spaniard has become an important player for the Rossoneri as Stefano Pioli’s confidence shows, and the management would like to keep him.

In the next few days there will be a meeting between Milan and Real Madrid to talk about what the future holds for the 24-year-old given that a decision must be made by June, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara aimingtrying to get the best possible price for Brahim.

However, the will of Real Madrid must be taken into account. Reports in Spain state that they would like to renew Diaz’s deal and include him in the first team plans, so there are ongoing evaluations on strategies for next year.

Much will depend on the players who leave Real Madrid in the summer which would be needed in order to create space for Brahim’s return, but the last word belongs to the Madrid club and the player while Milan hope to keep him with a discount.

    1. Because ForzaMilan and Pioli (the only two people on the planet) think he is actually worth it, and both probably have the hots for him.

Other than that there is no rational reason.

    2. There’s no official buy out option. 20 mil will surely be too high for our kind of budget. 10-15 mil should be reasonable. Although I’d prefer to see Aouar in that position next season.
