GdS: Milan could reinvest in attack with potential Leao sale – the two names targeted

AC Milan are in a position where they know they must soon invest in a new centre-forward for the future, so the management are at work to identify the right profile.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the future of Milan and what they are able to do in the transfer window is linked to the Champions League and the possible sale of Rafael Leao next summer.

It means that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could have plenty of money to reinvest in the attack, and with Olivier Giroud now 36 years of age and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (41) possibly set to retire, the feeling is that a new centre-forward is needed.

One of the names being monitored is Noah Okafor of Red Bull Salzburg, a player Milan know well as he scored the first goal against them in the Champions League group stages.

Another option is Armando Broja of Chelsea, and here there is the possibility of an intertwining as the Blues remain interested in Leao and Broja could have involvement in a wider operation.
