Vitiello: Milan set to renew and improve agreements with Emirates and PUMA

By Oliver Fisher -

There are many benefits from AC Milan’s improved fortunes on the field and one of them is the increase in revenue that results.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello on his YouTube channel (via Francesco Nasato), the current sponsorship agreements with Fly Emirates and PUMA will be reviewed and improved in due course.

There is often a close correlation between economic performance and results on the field, especially when considering that the latter often feeds into the former because a winning team is more attractive to sponsors.

MilanNews reported in February how during the week of the derby win over Inter, an AC Milan delegation led by CEO Ivan Gazidis went to Dubai to attend Expo 2020 and they spoke with the management of Emirates.

The current partnership guarantees Milan about €14.2m per annum based on bonuses and there were positive discussions held in Dubai given Milan are viewed as a top partner on a par with Real Madrid. PUMA meanwhile guarantee Milan €13m a year in sponsorship.
