AC Milan are just as focused on renewing the existing player contracts as they are on signing new players to improve the team, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) today, there are a number of players in the squad that Milan want to make sure they are keeping hold of in the years to come.
Given they have just won the Scudetto, interest in the Milan squad has never been higher. Players such as Rafael Leao, Pierre Kalulu, Alessandro Florenzi and Fode Ballo-Toure could all find themselves being poached by other clubs.
Milan want to make sure they do not lose any of their key players or the ones that provide important depth to the squad.
That being said, they also want to go into next season with a stronger starting eleven and bench than they currently have and that will mean dipping into the transfer market.
