Telegraph: Milan retain interest in Ziyech with future to be decided late in window

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have retained an interest in Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech but the Moroccan’s future is unlikely to be decided until the final weeks of the transfer window, a report claims.

As has been reported by The Telegraph in the UK, the Rossoneri have not given up hope of adding Ziyech to the squad although it does not seem like it will be a fast move.

The player himself is still very keen to move away from Chelsea and it is believed that Milan is an option he would be interested in.

Milan have held talks with Chelsea over a proposed loan but it seems that neither club are going to force the issue until later in the window.

Milan’s need to add a player like Ziyech to the squad has reduced after the versatile Charles De Ketelaere joined from Club Brugge.

An improvement on the right wing would be welcomed by Stefano Pioli though.

      1. He is not better than messiahs, messias ain’t good enough bit he is a hard worker and give all to the team. I will rather get ansensio than ziyech

        1. Fair comment about Messias’ work rate: it’s something Ziyech will need to replicate if he signed. I think I’m terms of ability he’s an upgrade. As for attitude I’d agree with you

  1. It’ll be a deadline day one I’d imagine. Chelsea need him gone, he’s not part of Tuchel’s plans

I’m not his biggest fan, but he is an upgrade on what we have. At this stage it would be a welcomed move

  2. Chelsea surely wants to some guaranteed sales then it depends on Redbird strategy next winter mercato..dream of Ziyech plus an adequate CB and maybe strong DM

  3. Not coming, it’s obvious Ziyech is / was a smokescreen for CDK.

Milan doesn’t buy players who already peaked and is more focused on the long term project.

In any case it’s much more likely that we’re interested in some U21 players from Chelsea than Ziyech

  4. He would be perfect on the right wing with the quality of leao it could be the tandem like promes and ziyech at Ajax

  5. Please bring in Ziyech! Waiting so long to move on him may pay off and make it a cheaper operation for Milan because chelsea appear desperate to offload some players and collect whatever bits of cash flow that they can.

  6. No way should Milan be buying Ziyech, although a dry loan would be good business potentially. No point putting an option in there as his value will go down even if he’s Milan’s best player.
