Report: Milan had scout at Torino-Empoli to watch duo – Pobega’s will for the future clear

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan had a scout present at Torino’s game against Empoli last night with two profiles in particular monitored, according to a report.

Journalist Nicolo Schira claims that there was an AC Milan scout at Torino’s 2-2 draw against Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino last night to watch two players specifically: midfielder Tommaso Pobega and centre-back Bremer.

Milan maintained control over Pobega by sending him to the Granata without any option to buy in what is the latest step in his journey after last season’s loan to Spezia, and the management are studying his growth.

They will have been impressed by the fact he scored after 10 minutes bringing his tally in the league to three goals, and the journalist adds that Pobega’s wish is to return to Milan next summer and stay there.

Bremer is also a target for Milan especially given Simon Kjaer’s knee injury, but Inter and Napoli are also interested in the 24-year-old Brazilian.
